Description
An EndoButton without loop is an implant used in orthopedic surgeries, especially for ACL / PCL reconstruction and ligament fixation.
🔹 Description:
It is a small metallic button (usually titanium or stainless steel) with multiple holes.
Unlike the EndoButton with loop (fixed loop or adjustable loop), this type does not have a pre-attached suture loop.
Instead, the surgeon can directly pass graft sutures through the button holes and secure the graft.
It provides strong cortical fixation on the femoral or tibial side.
🔹 Advantages:
Allows customized suture passage depending on graft type.
Provides rigid fixation with high tensile strength.
Useful in cases where adjustable or fixed loops are not preferred.
🔹 Applications:
ACL/PCL reconstruction.
AC joint repair.
Tendon or ligament suspensory fixation.
